Official Date & Pictures
It’s official, the first BarCampOrlando will be taking place Sunday, September 23 at Taste from 1 PM to 10 PM. We will have free soft drinks available all day, and the bar will be open for those who want to pay for drinks. We will also have afternoon snacks and provide dinner free for all attendees. The schedule, sponsorship packages, and registration will be announced in another week or two.
The event will be free but there will be a limited number of spots available, so stay tuned.
This morning Jason Hawkins and I were down at Taste to do some filming for a video we’re putting together for BarCampOrlando which we hope to release sometime next week. It’ll serve as a great means to get the word out to people who may not know what a BarCamp is.
While we were there Meagan Fisher (who created the BarCampOrlando Logo above) took some digital shots of the place for the website. I’ll probably pick some of the best of these and create a “Venue” page on the main menu of this blog. Until then, you can view her collection by clicking on the image below:
